Outstanding Piano Performance
The AT-80SLhas an extended 76-note lowermanual and incredible stereosampledgrand piano sounds, forauthentic piano performance.There is also a damper pedal thatprovides the same effect and expression as anacoustic piano. The lower manual has a Split functiontoo, in case you want to add different instrumentsounds to your piano playing.
Powerful Speakers and Sound System
The AT-80SL’s sounds are delivered with awesomepower and resonance through multiple fullrangespeakers. A mighty 30 cm woofer gives youtruly thunderous bass. Models with a woofer alsofeature the RSS (Roland Sound Space) Reverb audioenhancement system, which produces a room-filling, cathedral-like ambience.
Harmony Intelligence
The Harmony Intelligence feature creates gorgeousharmony based on the chords you play on the lowermanual. Choose from a wide array of harmonytypes, including Strings, Hymn, Harp, Jazz Scat, BigBand, and more. Ensemble-type performances havenever sounded this great!

Using a floppydisk, you can name and store up to 99 sets ofregistration data, each consisting of twelve registrations, for more than a thousand different variations!All registrations can be called up instantlywhile playing, to customize your settings andexpand your repertoire and ensemble possibilitieswith the mere touch of a button.

Easy Navigation with the Quick Guide
The onscreen Quick Guide makes it easy to use all the American Classic Series’advanced and powerful features. Simply touch “Quick Guide” on the touchscreen, then press any button, key, pedal or footswitch to jump to the settingsscreen for that item. For example, pressing the damper pedal will open thecontroller window to adjust the damper pedal settings. Alternatively, youcan touch “index” to call up the settings screen for a keyword of your choice.Just make your settings, close the screen and play!
